1st courses in Philosophy
As part of the Core Curriculum, Notre Dame requires every student to take an introduction to Philosophy. The Philosophy Department provides a number of different ways for students to be introduced to the field of philosophy. Some are large, some are small; some are general, while others focus in on the intersection of philosophy with another field, like science, mathematics, ethics, or religion.
