Stephen Mackereth

Stephen has worked on neo-Fregean logicism, Gödel’s Dialectica translation, and theories of truth. He is interested in understanding the great foundational debate in mathematics between logicists and constructivists at the turn of the twentieth century and the effects of that debate on the development of analytic philosophy. He enjoys thinking about logical and semantic paradoxes; about proof, truth, computation, and definition; and about the nature and significance of foundations in mathematics. Previously, he was a member of the Dartmouth Society of Fellows.
