Abigail is a current first-year PhD student in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame. Abigail received her bachelor's degree in philosophy from Notre Dame in 2019 and subsequently her B.Phil. from the University of Oxford (Magdalen College) in 2021. Prior to her return to Notre Dame, Abigail spent a year working in London. Her main research interests are focused in Islamic and Scholastic metaphysics, and she is especially interested in exploring medieval theories of individuation and prime matter. When not reading or writing philosophy, Abigail enjoys rowing on the St. Joseph River, yoga, and baking.
