How can we engage productively across ideological differences? Megan Zwart will discuss developing intellectual virtues (curiosity, intellectual humility, empathy), listening/conversation skills, and then lead a conversation on applying these skills and virtues to discussions about the most controversial social and political issues (abortion, gun rights/regulations, kneeling for the anthem, immigration, free speech on campus etc.).
Join us February 12th from 6:30-7:30 pm in 215 Malloy Hall. Snacks will be provided!
