Thomas Aquinas College, Bachelor of Arts

I grew up in southwestern Virginia and received my BA from Thomas Aquinas College in California, where we studied the Great Books. I consider philosophy to be the search for truth about the most important questions. I believe that it is possible to know when one has found the true answers to such questions, but often only with great difficulty. I also believe that the truth is essential for human happiness – and consequently that it is worth dying for. Besides philosophy, my main interest is to live according to the monastic rule of St. Benedict.
