Prior to attending Notre Dame, Justin received a BA from Houston Baptist University, a MA in philosophy from Texas Tech University, and a MLitt in theology from the University of St Andrews. He is now a fourth-year PhD student interested in the metaphysics of persons, identities, selves, fictional characters, and how the relationships between them shine light on the question of what matters in survival for us. Outside philosophy, Justin enjoys playing board games, watching Survivor, and reading science fiction and fantasy novels.
