Jeff Tolly

Davidson College, BA 2010

Previously, I was a visiting assistant professor of philosophy and religion at University of Indianapolis, having arrived there after completing my Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Notre Dame.  I also earned a B.A. in philosophy from Davidson College.

I specialize in epistemology--with a focus on the nature of knowledge and reliability.  I am also interested in metaphysics, philosophy of religion, philosophy of science, and value theory.

As an instructor, I'm interested in teaching a wide variety of subjects.  In addition to teaching general introduction to philosophy, I have taught both intermediate and introductory-level courses in philosophy of religion, philosophy of science, social and political philosophy, and business ethics.   I will also be teaching metaphysics this Spring at Rutgers.
