NEW FACULTY


The Department is pleased to welcome two new members. Grant Ramsey joins us from Duke University and specializes in the philosophy of biology. Richard Cross, the John A. O'Brien Professor of Philosophy, comes to us from Oriel College, Oxford, and specializes in medieval philosophy and philosophy of religion. In addition, Prof. Vitezslav Svejdar from the Department of Logic at Charles University in the Czech Republic will be visiting the Department as a Fulbright scholar for part of the year.
